It all began with a chance encounter by a pool in Puerto Vallarta. Shawn (from Kansas City) and Dino (from Lima) met on vacation, and what started as a summer romance turned into a shared dream of creating the Bay's most iconic slushie bar.
Why "Blondies"?
It's not because of the band, or the comic. It's a personal nickname: Shawn's friends in Vallarta used to call him «Blondie,» and coincidentally, Dino's friends in Peru called him «Rubio.» That coincidence gave our home its name.
The concept
A safe, clean, and vibrant space, designed as a «cool cocktail party» where everyone is invited.

What began as a resilience project during the pandemic is now a studio where we design, print, and hand-sew the 99% line of our merchandise.
